Dad and Roy made it to the house

My dad and my brother were questioning whether they'd even be able to make it to our lakehouse. They had so much snow and they even had to walk the drive into the cabins, but they did make it. They were able to move the beds I'd taken up from the cabins to the house. They are already teasin me about me owing them for doin it all . It's so cool just to know it won't be much longer till we get to go up and stay in the house. I'm really looking forward to our first sleep in it.

Got a TV for the place - yay !

Well our house is getting harder and harder to get around in here, but it sure is nice to know we're getting so much together to take up north. My nephew donated a TV this week and it's a nice big one so yay! Can't wait for the weather to break :)

Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, gosh the choices

Well, today my brothers inlaws all arrived. My brother lives right by me and so it's really fun. They come down from New York every year for about a week. Anyhow, they already had me over and had me bring pics of the lakehouse to show. Right away they started asking me how we're going to heat and cool it and when will we get the plumbing in ? - I had no answers. lol I do know that the first thing we'll have to do is get the house wired. When we'll get started on that, I have no idea. My parents had thier cabins for years and years without any electricity or indoor plumbing, I hope it doesn't take us that long. haha, oh well. It's still the most beautiful place in the world and we love it just as it is. I would however absolutely love any advice on heating and cooling options. Ideas anyone?

Snow, Travelling, yay!

Well we're taking off in the morning. Can't wait to see the place again. I hope Bob the builder has put in the extra windows or done something since the last time I was up. It's going to be coldddddddd brrrrrrrrr. I'm still looking forward to it. Anyhow, I'll post more asap.
